A successful interior is achieved by blending the client's vision, the natural environment, and architecture, whether the design is traditional, rustic or contemporary. My goal is always to be fresh and current, but for the interior to also be timeless. Inspired by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, for its architecture and diverse art collection and by nature and all of the colors and textures that surround us.

Andrea Lawrence Wood
Interior Design Development
Andrea Lawrence Wood’s exceptional achievements in the world of interior design are recognized internationally. Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail and broad knowledge of design periods and styles have brought her industry acclaim and broad media exposure in numerous fine design publications.
Wood takes pride in personally managing every project Interior Design Development accepts and in her role, she coordinates traditionally competitive disciplines. “Our commitment is to always integrate the owner, developer, contractor, designer and architect into a cohesive design team,” Wood says. That philosophy has set a benchmark in the industry.
Among her many leadership roles, she was chairman of the Design Council for the Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics for the Denver Art Museum. She has been named to the Denver Business Journal's 50 Top Women-Owned Businesses for more than a decade. She serves on the Design Advisory Board for Benjamin Moore and on the Academic Advisory Board for the Colorado Art Institute.
Kellye's design aesthetic is towards natural raw materials combined with simple clean lines, leaning more towards a soothing monochromatic color palette, with interest created with textures and an unexpected pop of color. A great designer is one that listens to their client's vision and guides them to create the perfect space. Kellye has worked on many different styles of projects in the Vail Valley, Florida, Hawaii, California and Martha's Vineyard. Some of the projects have been featured in Luxe and Mountain Living Magazine.
For Andrea, who joined the Slifer Designs team in the fall of 1999, the most exciting aspect of the job is that each new project is unique with different set of parameters. My design philosophy is not to have any rules. I believe that when you design you shouldn't limit yourself to one style, but have an open mind - making spaces a little more eclectic. My main objective is to ensure that each project I complete reflects the client's lifestyle and needs.
